Panda3DS is a Nintendo 3DS emulator written in C++, thanks to which you can play some of the best games of this legendary handheld console from the comfort of your PC. The emulator, which according to its own developers started simply as a project as a bit of fun, has become a software capable of running a large number of video games properly.
A simple and easy-to-use emulator
Unlike other, more complex emulators, such as Citra, Panda3DS is very easy to set up and use. All you have to do is unzip the contents of the compressed file in a folder and open the .exe file as administrator. And that's it. There are few configuration options or others of the sort inside the emulator. You can change the style of the interface and little else. You have two options to launch a ROM: open it directly from the emulator itself or drag the ROM to the emulator executable.
An increasing number of supported games
On the GitHub page of its authors, you can find a compatibility list maintained by the community, where anyone who uses the emulator can add information about the games they are trying out. Thanks to these contributions, this list is growing every day. As you'll soon find out, the vast majority of major Nintendo 3DS games work almost flawlessly. Some video games have certain graphic errors, but all these glitches and errors are gradually getting fixed with each new version.
A practical and efficient emulator
Download Panda3DS if you're looking for a good emulator that's capable of running some of the best Nintendo 3DS games. It is also a very light emulator (it takes up very little space on the hard disk) and consumes very few resources, so you can try it out even on mid-range or low-end devices. As usual, you'll have to look for the ROMs by yourself.
